I’m not doing any exercise today. I’m resting. A lot of exercisaholics don’t realize that proper recovery is as important as ‘training’. I’ve done 4 days of light exercise, and I’m feeling pretty good. Recovery is a lot like re-fueling while you exercise, you know the saying : “drink before you’re thirsty, eat before you’re hungry.” Well, you should also rest before you’re tired.
I’m feeling pretty good and I’d planned to take one day off this first week. I’m happy that I’m not crippled after yesterday’s gym workout. Jake was speculating that I wouldn’t be able to walk today. I can and I don’t feel too sore. All-in-all a good sign. I’ll pick it up again on the weekend with a longer ski and another trainer ride.
» Sheri got stuck in a ditch with her Element today. We call her Element the snow-tank. She’s never been stuck, so it was a surprise. I s’pose I did a bit of exercise digging it out. There were six dogs in it, trapped, they didn’t know what to do…
