The Pro Tour is over?

Hmmm, I was surprised to see the Pro Tour for 2008 is over. Maybe its as pointless as everyone says it is, I didn’t even know it didn’t go into the fall and include races like Paris Tours and the Tour of Lombardy.
I guess cycling fans are now waiting to see if it will well and truly be over. Time will tell.
Oh, Valverde won ahead of Cunego.
